Join Our Team as a Psychologist Trainee

We are currently seeking a Psychologist Trainee to join our dynamic team at WellnessClinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has recently completed their Post Graduation in Psychology and is looking to gain practical experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Post Graduation degree in Psychology from a recognized university or institution
Must have a valid certification/license as a psychologistExcellent organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients

Responsibilities:

As a Psychologist Trainee, you will be responsible for providing support to the clinic administration and assisting in conducting psychological assessments and therapies under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the administrative tasks within the clinic, including scheduling appointments, managing client files, and organizing documentations.
    Participating in telecommunication with clients, conducting preliminary screenings, and arranging initial consultations.
    Observing and assisting in psychological assessments, interventions, and therapies.
    Conducting research and literature reviews to support the development of treatment plans.
    Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
    Attending regular supervision sessions and engaging in professional development opportunities.

 

Requirements

Demonstrated commitment to a one-year full-time program, with possible extension based on performance and availability.
Confident in using various technology platforms for telecommunication and administrative tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Comfortable in working with diverse populations and a range of mental health concerns.
Willingness to adhere to professional and ethical guidelines.
